"The real voyage of discovery consists not of having new landscapes, but new eyes" -Marcel Proust
At the age of 40, Carl Jung had achieved everything he had longed for: an impressive career, an international reputation, wealth, a lovely wife, a beautiful home and five children. There was only one problem: he realized that the seemingly enviable life he was living lacked authenticity and depth- it was, in fact, a script of someone else's life. The ensuing personal crisis from this realization drove Jung to explore his inner realms through art and mythology, discovering techniques of insight that became the foundations of Depth Psychology and brought him a sense of revelation, purpose, wholeness and completion.
In this one-day workshop we will trace the inspiring story of what Jung discovered and explore some of the powerful tools he developed to navigate the depths of our own lives. Through lecture, guided journaling and small group sharing and a labyrinth walk, we will embrace the biggest journey of all: the journey of self-discovery.
